Keydra was not your average 28-year-old. She had just opened a business, and was in the middle of a very busy time in her life when she felt a tiny lump in her breast. She ignored it at first, but when it grew larger, she knew something wasn’t right. She was diagnosed with breast cancer in June of 1999. Luckily, her treatment was successful and she has been cancer-free for 18 years.
Her message to others facing breast cancer now: turn the negatives into positives. Think healthy things, and put them at the forefront of your mind. Having anxiety and worrying constantly can’t stop things from happening, but it can stop you from living your fullest life. That’s why she focuses instead on helping people achieve financial independence, living a healthy lifestyle, and following her faith in God.
