Do you love arts and crafts? Join our Elizabeth’s Garden tulip and butterfly decorating committee where you can put your bedazzling, scrapbooking, gluing, painting, and decoupaging skills to work!
Elizabeth’s Garden is named in memory of Elizabeth Guardiola, a dedicated volunteer, breast cancer survivor and dear friend who passed away in 2004. This program was established as a way to honor those who have lost their battle with breast cancer, thank a Co-Survivor who has supported you, or celebrate team members joining you at a Komen North Texas event. The beautiful pink flowers and butterflies are decorated to accommodate personal messages and tributes; are prominently displayed in Elizabeth’s Garden at each of our events; and are available for pick up on event day.
The committee meets on the first Wednesday of each month from 6-8pm. Email Mary Frances Hoover at mfhoover@komennorthtexas.org if you would like more information or would like to join this committee.
